The twelve artists competing across the two categories of Sámi Grand Prix have been revealed alongside the hosts for the show.
Your hosts with the most
Isalill Kolpus and Ánte Siri will host the show on 28th March. Kolpus, a comedian and radio host from Kirkenes, is a panelist on the Norwegian comedy show “Nytt på Nytt”, and has appeared on comedy stages all over Norway.
Siri, meanwhile, is an actor who has appeared in the likes of “Ellos eatnu – La elva leve” (Known in English as “Let The River Flow” and recently the TV series “Heajastallan”, in which he plays the character of Henry.
Meet your competitors!
Six acts each will compete in the songs and joiks section of the contest, each section will crown an individual winner, meaning there is both a winning song and joik.
All 6 joiks and songs will be available to be streamed from midnight on 6th March, with the playlist already able to be pre-saved, and the show will be broadcast on 28th March at 19:45CET on SVT, Yle and NRK – the winners will be decided by a combination of jury and televote, in a ratio of of 40% jury and 60% televote.

What is Sámi Grand Prix?
First held in 1990, Sámi Grand Prix is an annual song & joik competition held around the time of the Sámi Easter Festival held in Báktehárji in Kautokeino/Guovdageaidnu. The 2025 winners of Sámi Grand Prix were Piera Eira ft. MÁIJÁ in the songs category with “Dálkkiid čađa” and OSCAAL with “Sávrrimus” in the joiks category.
